Evergreen Studios specializes in portrait and wedding photography, artistic as well as classical images in color, black-and-white, and our unique brown tones. We also offer a large selection of frames made by some of the finest craftsmen in the world.

Evergreen's owner and principal photographer is Susan K. Hoermann, M. Photog., PPA Certified. Susan has been called by critics "one of the very best" wedding photographers in Austin. She began her career studying at San Antonio College and Southwest Texas State University, and in 1978 took a position with one of Austin's preeminent photography studios, serving some of Austin's most prominent families and political figures. After leaving there, Susan opened her own studio in Olympia, Washington, attracting such clients as then-Governor of Washington, Booth Gardner and well known children's author Jack Prelutsky. In 1990 she moved Evergreen Studios to Austin, where the business has grown steadily.

Active in professional organizations, Susan has served as president of the local guild, which named her it's photographer of the year, and has been awarded the degrees of Master of Photography and PPA Certified by the Professional Photographers of America.
